Seattle pitcher Ethan Jenkins had a large part in his team beating the Buffalo Bison, 6-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Buffalo, with the loss, is 7-3.

Seattle designated hitter Noah Kate contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a knuckleball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 11th hit of the season and put the Sasquatch ahead, 5-3.

"I liked his command," said Seattle manager Vicente Vargas. "Ethan was throwing strikes."
