The Dallas Texans beat the Eureka Hornets, 6-4. Dallas pitcher and Cancún, Mexico, native Victor Lara led the way. Jeff Reynolds, now 5-3, was credited with the win in 1.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

Jordan Ochoa helped out the Dallas cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Lara told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
