Bison Walk It Off for 49th Win of Season
The Bighorn Bison defeated the Walnut Creek Warriors, 6-3, in part because of right fielder Riley Andrus. Andrus was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Bison. Bighorn reliever Ruben Rodriguez was the winner. His record is now 5-3. Russ Gilleo took the loss. The 5th-place Bison now have a win-loss record of 49-55.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Bighorn trailing 3-2, Andrus jumped on a cutter from 27-year old left-handed pitcher Ray Clemens and hit a grand slam home run to right. With one swing, the Bison had a walk-off win.

"This place was jumping at the end," Andrus said.
