The Bighorn Bison overcame a pretty good performance by Seattle right fielder Ricardo Nieves, beating the Sasquatch, 7-4, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Nieves went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 5th-place Bison improved to 48-57.

Luis Farinas had a big 2-run double for the Bison in the bottom of the second inning. With Bighorn leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Ethan Jenkins, who is tied for 8th in the TML in quality starts with 10, and swatted a double to center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 3-0.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Farinas.
