Miles Sorrells powered the Hawaii Honu to a win over the Huntington Station Ramrods. The final score was 7-5. The Hawaii right fielder, the 16th overall pick in the 2060 draft, was phenomenal. He stroked 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Fernando Vazquez was the winner. He's now 8-6. The loser was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Borrero. Joe Fleury picked up his 13th save of the season.

With Hawaii leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Sorrells hit a cutter from Willie Borrero for a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Honu ahead, 6-3.

"Miles is still learning," said Honu manager Naoki Okada. "The sky's the limit for him."

The Honu sit in 6th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division with a record of 39-52.
