Stogies Rally Late to Clip Eagle Rock
Havana catcher Chase Waudby was a significant contributor in his team's 8-7 triumph over the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Stogies. Havana pitcher Andy Schutt got the win. He's now 8-1. Jack Anthony was tagged with the loss. The Stogies improved their record to 52-53 with the win over Eagle Rock.

The decisive blow was delivered by Erik Mettlen in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jack Anthony to win the game for Havana. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Mettlen said.
