For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

Buffalo beat Eureka at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to shortstop Mace Kota. He was 1-3 with 2 walks. He scored 3 runs. Gary Halliwell snagged the win in relief. He goes to 5-8 on the season. Justin Soule suffered the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Bye in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off fan favorite Justin Soule to win the game for Buffalo. The home crowd went nuts.

"I hate to be the fly in the ointment," said Bye, "but we could've played better."

With the win, the Bison improved to 47-44.
