Eagle Rock turned a fine outing from starter Willie Borrero into a victory over the Montreal Mounties at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Bryan Young got credit for the save for Eagle Rock. It was his 6th of the year. Eagle Rock sits at 7-4 in the early going.

Carl Farley hit a 2-run home run off Greg Spivey in the bottom of the first, which put the Ridge Runners ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Farley had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.
