Buffalo Sends San Francisco Packing with 9-5 Loss
Buffalo defeated San Francisco, 9-5, in large part due to fan favorite Jonathan Schimmel. Schimmel drove in 5 runs. The center fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Bison. The Bison now own a record of 51-56.

With Buffalo leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Schimmel hit a slider from Rich Swayngim for a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Bison ahead, 3-0.

"I'm proud to wear a Buffalo jersey," Schimmel told the Buffalo Observer. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
