The first-place Eureka Hornets picked up another win.

Bobby Loscalzo brought his A-game to help Eureka defeat the Kansas City Tornadoes, 4-0. The winner was Loscalzo. He threw 7.2 innings of shutout ball. The loser was John Nauss.

Eureka took a 3-0 lead on Patrick Powell's 8th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Powell hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Kansas City pitcher John Nauss visibly frustrated.

"Bobby just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Eureka manager Juan Montés.

The first-place Hornets have won 5 straight games.
