The Montreal Mounties defeated the Chicago Eclipse, 7-6, in 10 innings in Thurman Munson League action at Mount Royal Grounds. Montreal pitcher Eddie Galloza had a standout performance. Montreal has now won 4 in a row.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jared Jones in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 33-year old right-handed pitcher Oscar Zegarra to win the game for Montreal. The home crowd went nuts.

"Eddie pitched like a champ," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez.
