The Eureka Hornets dealt the Mexico City Luchadores a 4-2 loss at The Nest. Hugo Calvo was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Eureka has a record of 72-41, placing them first in the Roberto Clemente League Central Division.

With Eureka leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Calvo hit a fastball from Juan Recio for a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Hornets ahead, 3-1.
