The Walnut Creek Warriors went down to defeat to Jim Wallace and his Buffalo teammates. The final score was 7-1, in favor of the Bison. At 53-58, Buffalo is in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League East Division.

Landon Michaels had a big 2-run triple for the Bison in the top of the fourth inning. With Buffalo leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Nelson Ramirez, who is tied for 5th in the TML in quality starts with 11, and swatted a triple to right. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 3-0.

"Jim was able to execute his pitches," said Buffalo manager Jon Green. "Simple as that."
