Bandits Get Dramatic 8-6 Triumph
The outcome was not decided until the very end at Bandits Grove.

The Brownsville Bandits defeated the Ocala Knights by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Harvey McFadyen. McFadyen went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Bandits on the day. The first-place Bandits, at 86-55, lead the RCL A Tommy Lasorda Division by 2 games.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Brownsville trailing 6-5, McFadyen jumped on a curveball from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Scott Perciavalle and hit a 3-run home run to left. With one swing, the Bandits had a walk-off win.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Bandits manager Izumo Ikarashi.
