Bush Wackers Come Up Short at Okanagan, 4-3
Starting pitcher Chris Roberts pitched well enough to help the Okanagan Lake Monsters beat the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 4-3. Okanagan reliever Dante Vidrio picked up the win to move to 7-2. Mike Whittle suffered the loss. The first-place Lake Monsters have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

Zac Wall drove in one run for Okanagan. The 23-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring strikeout off Mike Whittle. It was his 72nd RBI of the season.

"Chris just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Okanagan manager Landy Lu.
