The Brisbane Bush Wackers bombarded the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 13-3, at Baylor Ballpark. Leading the blitz was Alfonso Valle. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Brisbane. Rich Encarnacion earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 7-1.

Center Fielder Victor Herbert made an impact for Brisbane, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Kai-shek Yang in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Herbert was 1 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs.

"We hit the ball hard," said Brisbane manager Tan Yue. "Line drive after line drive."

The setback makes St. Petersburg 37-108.
