Ben Rudkin led the charge as the Ocala Knights defeated the Baltimore Magicians, 5-2, in 14 innings at Baltimore Stadium. Rudkin, who is tied for 8th in the TA with a .569 slugging percentage, went 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dave Mendez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. His record is now 4-1. The second-place Knights sport a record of 88-63.

Jason Whimster came through with a big-time hit for Ocala. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"It was terrific getting this win," Rudkin said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
