The Kingwood Knights beat the Memphis Blues, 15-10, at Stable Park. Kingwood left fielder Jimmy DeFranco banged out 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. At 75-78, the Knights are currently 4th in the TML A Dick Williams Division.

Pat Robb helped out the Kingwood cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a hit by pitch.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," DeFranco told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
