The Chicago Eclipse got production up and down the lineup while beating the Quebec Armada, 13-1. One standout was left fielder Miguel Benavides. Benavides was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3. The Eclipse improved their record to 66-49 with the win over Quebec.

With Chicago leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Benavides hit a slider from John Tuck for a 3-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Eclipse ahead, 5-0.

"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Chicago skipper Demetrio Recchia.
