San Angelo Beats Memphis, 4-1

San Angelo and Memphis got after it at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.
Bill Larimore pitched well, but his team, the Memphis Blues, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the San Angelo Mustangs at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. San Angelo reliever Juan Ruiz was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Bill Larimore took the loss for Memphis. Luis Segarra picked up his 7th save of the season.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from right fielder Brandon Walshe. For the game, Walshe went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave San Angelo a 2-0 lead.
Walshe attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
The win gives the Mustangs a record of 30-127.
