Late Offense Lifts Baltimore to 6-4 Victory
Two of the league's best teams met for a late-season clash.

Behind the hitting of Bobby Adams, the Baltimore Magicians clipped the Oconomowoc Five O's, 6-4. Adams was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Magicians. Baltimore reliever Robbie Gonzales picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Hamilton Thomas was saddled with the loss.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Juan Alvarez? The 24-year old second baseman Alvarez stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Baltimore up, 6-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

Baltimore manager Jonathan Kelly praised his team's "businesslike approach."

At 101-57, the Magicians claim second place in the TML A Dick Williams Division.
