Blazers Stumble, Lose to Pioneers

The Vancouver Pioneers picked up a win at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, taking down the Bloomington Blazers, 9-4. Starting pitcher Nick Galea was a big reason why. The win makes Vancouver 48-66.
In the bottom of the fourth, Vancouver center fielder Tim Hearn had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Hearn stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 4-2, Vancouver. For the game, he was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"We maximized our offense today," said Vancouver skipper Naofumi Tanaka. "That makes everyone's life easier."
