Despite a fine performance by right fielder Austin Hyde, the Havana Stogies lost to the Chicago Eclipse, 7-6. Hyde was 3 for 6 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win went to Oscar Zegarra in relief, making him now 1-0. Danny Arias took the loss for Havana. Jerry Bamberg recorded the save, his 2nd.

Chicago took a 7-6 lead on Eli Neff's 2nd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Neff hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Havana pitcher Danny Arias visibly frustrated.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Neff. "And not try to do too much."

The win lifts Chicago to a record of 6-6.
