Shane Fredrickson left his imprint on the 8-5 Calgary win against the Peoria Caterpillars. Fredrickson was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division-leading Hitmen are 83-61.

Had Kevin Stark not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Stark hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Hitmen.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Stark.
