Anchorage and Fort Worth got after it at Moose's Tooth Field.

Good production from third baseman Kyle Higgins helped the Anchorage Moose topple the Fort Worth Cats, 8-4. Higgins went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Moose. Will Alvarez picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-14. He struck out 6 in 7.1 innings.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Moose grabbed the lead when Higgins hit his 29th home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Ethan Pollard made it 6-2, Anchorage.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Higgins.

Anchorage now sits at 53-92, while Fort Worth falls to 69-76.
