Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Moose's Tooth Field.

The Fort Worth Cats outlasted Alejandro Garcia and the Anchorage Moose, 8-7. Garcia was impressive in the loss. The Anchorage pitcher came in in relief and pitched to 24 batters. Reliever Nick Loyd picked up the win. His record improves to 4-9. Jared Hutson, who is tied for 3rd in the RAAA in saves with 23, took the loss.

Ricky Pimienta was 1-4 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Fort Worth. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jared Hutson. It was his 50th walk of the season.

"I like the fight in this team," said Cats manager Dudha Goli.

Fort Worth is in 5th place in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division with a record of 70-77.
