The Asheville Moonshiners got a good effort from starter Victor Lara in defeating the Manhattan Slice at The Still. The final score was 3-1. Asheville reliever Jim Ketring picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Ethan Jenkins was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Manhattan sinks to 4-7.

Asheville took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Gabe Lesesne hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Moonshiners.
