Kerry Stricker made an impact in the 13-4 Albuquerque win over Hendersonville. Stricker went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Albuquerque raised its record to 82-67 with the win.

Albuquerque got a big at-bat from Mayarí, Cuba native Ricardo Nieves, who in the top of the fourth hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 25th double of the season and put the Cacti ahead, 7-0.

"I still think this team can play even better," Nieves told the Albuquerque Times.
