Behind a fine performance from Tomas Lazo, the Cabo San Lucas Toreros knocked off the Montreal Mounties in 12 innings, 8-6. Lazo went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Toreros. Cabo San Lucas is 5th in the Roberto Clemente League International Division with a record of 51-66.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, Lazo hit a fastball from Eric Wilkinson for a 2-run home run. The Toreros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
