In Extras, Racers Beat Black Bears
The Bowling Green Racers did just enough to nip the Thunder Bay Black Bears, 10-9, in 10 innings. Bowling Green right fielder Russell Lee, in particular, had a standout performance. Bowling Green reliever Karl Molnar picked up the win to move to 4-5. Bobby Boeckner suffered the loss. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Thunder Bay.

The Racers got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Ryan Vuichard. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Racers.

"There's no quit in this team," said Racers manager Ron Jeremy.
