Sasquatch Collect 6-4 Win Over Warriors
The Seattle Sasquatch clipped the Walnut Creek Warriors, 6-4, in 11 innings at Castlerock Field. The standout performance belonged to Seattle pitcher and Thornhill, Canada, native Rick Rielly. Rich Breckel picked up the win in relief for Seattle, while Ray Clemens took the loss. With the win over Walnut Creek, the Sasquatch improved to 56-61.

Seattle took advantage of an error in the top of the 11th inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Steve Simmons hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Sasquatch in front, 5-4.

"There's no quit in this team," said Sasquatch manager Vicente Vargas.
