Guerrero Takes Chainsaw to Normal Bats in 10-0 Win
|
The Stinging pitcher Andy Guerrero had a large part in his team beating the Normal Nutcrackers, 10-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Nutcrackers, now 9-58, have lost 10 in a row.
Guerrero earned the win, going 8.2 strong innings for The Stinging. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 14. Normal hitters had little success against him.
"Do what you're good at," said The Stinging manager Jose Correa. "That's all I ask of the team."
