Tribbles Plunge Past Yuma, 9-8
In a high-scoring game between Rosewell and Yuma, catcher Josh Thomas was a difference-maker. The 21-year-old helped Rosewell grab the 9-8 win. He was 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Rosewell pitcher Chuck Green earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Jose Pacheco suffered the loss. The first-place Tribbles have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.

The decisive blow was delivered by David Hastings in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Pacheco to win the game for Rosewell. The home crowd went nuts.

Thomas said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
