Timbers Get Dramatic 5-4 Win
In a tight contest at The Cove, the Oconto Falls Timbers edged the Sedona Sabercats by the score of 5-4. Oconto Falls catcher Carlos Cota, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The winner was Oconto Falls reliever Cesar Arana, now 2-3. The loser was Ed Cruz. The Timbers improved to 32-39.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Oconto Falls trailing 4-2, Cota jumped on a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Ed Cruz and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Timbers had a walk-off win.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Sedona manager . "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
