Timbers Turn Away Sabercats, 6-4
The Oconto Falls Timbers earned a win at The Cove, knocking off the Sedona Sabercats, 6-4. On the bump for Oconto Falls was right-hander John Miller. He had a starring role in the triumph. Picking up the save was 22-year old left-handed pitcher Jason Rust. Oconto Falls sits in 5th place in the TML R Fred McGriff Division at 33-40.

Oconto Falls took a 5-1 lead on Zeljko Anastasijevic's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Anastasijevic hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sedona pitcher Rafael Valentin visibly frustrated.

Oconto Falls manager Jorge Murillo was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
