Downbound Totems Lose 10th Straight
The Savannah Peaches downed the Victoria Totems, 8-6, at Martin Field. The Peaches were led by Jon Kisor. Kisor went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Savannah reliever Shiro Teshima was the winner. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Justin Oakley. The misery continues for the Totems, who have now dropped 10 in a row.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Savannah trailing 6-4, Kisor jumped on a fastball from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Oakley and hit a grand slam home run to left-center. With one swing, the Peaches had a walk-off win.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Kisor.
