Buffalo Wastes Great Game by Holmes
Buffalo second baseman Jeff Holmes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Seattle at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Holmes went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Paul Massaro closed the game out for Seattle, earning his 11th save. Seattle raised its record to 64-56 with the win.

Seattle used a timely hit from Ethan Morehead to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sasquatch ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Morehead.
