Wichita and The Stinging took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Wichita Storm converted a terrific effort from starter Mario Bonilla into a win over the The Stinging Larvae at The Queen. The Storm won the game by a final score of 3-0. The Storm now have a record of 27-51.

The Larvae had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Storm going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old catcher Alexis Montoya came to the plate. Montoya hit a solo home run on a first pitch fastball from The Stinging hurler Mario Vargas. It was Montoya's 2nd home run of the year.

"Watch and learn," said Montoya. "This is what good pitching looks like."
