The Sedona Sabercats went home winners at Denis Coderre Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Mario Correa. Correa stifled the Montreal Cardinals, enabling Sedona to grab the 5-1 win. The Sabercats now have a record of 52-27.

Sedona won the game in part because of Nate Sawyer. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sabercats ahead, 5-1. For the game, Sawyer had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"I had everything working," said Correa.
