Peaches Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Rangers
|
Jon Kisor did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Savannah Peaches an extra-inning, 5-4 loss to the Carrollton Rangers at Rangers Field. Kisor was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Rangers now have a record of 30-55 with the win over Savannah.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Carrollton left fielder Omar Fierro, facing Ken Liberto, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rangers the 5-4 win.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Savannah skipper David Flecha.
