Pennsylvania Wins, 3-2, in Extra Innings
In a low-scoring contest between the Pennsylvania Butterflies and the Bighorn Bison, 26-year old right-handed pitcher Robby Welsh proved to be the difference. The Pennsylvania right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Butterflies win. The Butterflies saw their win-loss record go to 52-67. At the same time, the Bison fell to 53-67.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Pennsylvania. That's when Philippe Parent hit a solo home run off fireballing right-hander Mike Lake to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Bighorn manager Carlos Esparza.
