Montreal Hot Streak Continues with 10-6 Win
Montreal shortstop Bob Enriquez made his presence felt in the 10-6 Jazz triumph over the Vancouver Pioneers. Enriquez was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. Sergio Hernandez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. He upped his record to 4-7. The Jazz win now puts them at 54-49.

Chris Jones had a big 3-run home run for the Jazz in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Montreal leading 6-5 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from 26-year old left-handed pitcher Jose Cedano and punished it. The result was his 9th home run of the season, which put the Jazz on top, 9-5.

"I like the roll we're on right now," said Enriquez after the game.
