The Pennsylvania Butterflies got a sterling performance from pitcher Josh Bailey, but the Buffalo Bison still prevailed, 7-2. Bailey came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. The winner was Josh Swopes in relief. His record improves to 2-0. David Espinoza took the loss. With the win over Pennsylvania, the Bison improved to 56-65.

The Bison got a big at-bat from shortstop Dustin Rowell. For the game, Rowell went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Buffalo a 4-0 lead.

Rowell told a Buffalo Times reporter that the win made him feel "upbeat about our team."
