Earthquakes Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
The San Francisco Earthquakes stymied the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 7-2, at Golden Gate Park. Gil Delk had a good day at the plate. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for San Francisco. With the win over Pennsylvania, the Earthquakes improved to 57-71.

Mike Young hit a run-scoring double off Bruce Hauber in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Earthquakes in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Young had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said San Francisco manager Zayar Adelabu.
