Blazers Handed 4-2 Defeat
|
Though he had a great game, Jaden White could not single-handedly produce a win for Bloomington. Hawaii won the game, 4-2. White was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jason Rhodes, 3-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. Getting the save was Karl Molnar, his 27th.
Zach Jackson contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Hawaii get the win.
Said losing manager Scott Andrews: "I think Susan Sarandon said it, 'Hit it where they ain't.' We didn't do a very good job of that tonight."
Bloomington has now lost 4 straight.
