Micah Goodwin was a vital contributor to the 11-4 Kansas City victory over Dallas. The Tornadoes first baseman was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Allan Goodwin earned the save for Kansas City, his 1st. To call the performance of the 2065 Texans subpar is an understatement.

With Kansas City leading 7-4 in the top of the ninth, Goodwin hit a curveball from Matt Lopas for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Tornadoes ahead, 11-4.

"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Goodwin told the Kansas City Bulletin. "Whatever it takes."
