Bloomington turned a good effort from starter Jay Vincent into a win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. The Blazers won the game, 6-1. The win makes Bloomington 57-52.
The Blazers benefited from an error in the top of the second inning. Bloomington was leading 1-0 when Gil de Aquino hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Bloomington in front, 3-0.
"Jay was in tempo tonight," said Bloomington skipper Leo Dethwright.
