The Vancouver Pioneers weathered an outstanding game by Pennsylvania designated hitter Kenneth Jones to topple the Butterflies, 10-7. Jones went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Vancouver pitcher Matt Maxfield got the win. He's now 9-7. David Espinoza was tagged with the loss. At 56-71, the Pioneers find themselves in last place in the Thurman Munson League West Division.

Xavier Ray helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 4-1, Pioneers.
