Luchadores Earn Late Win
The Mexico City Luchadores besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Montreal left fielder Arnold Lysek by beating the Mounties, 8-7, at The Royal Grounds. Lysek went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Mexico City reliever Preston Stenzel was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Bill Wolfe took the loss. The defeat makes Montreal 77-53.

Leo Galdamez was the walk-off hero for Mexico City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Luchadores first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The house was rockin'," said Galdamez.
