The Kansas City Tornadoes wiggled past the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 4-3, in 11 innings at Ozark Mountain Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Kansas City pitcher B.J. Bichler. The 5th-place Tornadoes go to 63-67.

Kansas City used the timely hitting of Erik Kent to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Tornadoes on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Said Kent: "It's just one win, but it feels like more when you outlast a tough opponent."
