The Havana Stogies stopped the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 8-7, at The Humidor. The Stogies got a big game from Yodo Hamamoto, who was 2-2 with a home run, a triple, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3. Reliever Prince Williams picked up the win. His record improves to 7-8. B.J. Bichler, who led the TML in strikeouts with 179 in 2061, took the loss. Andy Schutt earned his 25th save in 27 chances.

Havana took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Quincy Littlejohn hit a run-scoring single to make it 8-7, Stogies.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Havana manager Taylor Hillary.

The Stogies sit in third place in the Roberto Clemente League International Division with a record of 66-63.
